Jin and Sun emerge from their hut the next morning, after the lovin'. Sun sees that Sayid is off yonder digging a grave for Shannon.
Sawyer wakes up and druggily tells Jack he loves Kate. Kate sees a horse in the jungle clearing.
So what PCL Kate did was apparently blow the house up with drunken stepfather in it? This is her original crime, I presume. She stops in a the diner her mom works at and hands off the insurance policy for the house that she took out in her mother's name. Apparently stepfather was a drunk and abusive on a few levels. Says goodbye and she's out the door.
Kate stays with Sawyer at the bunker while Jack goes to Shannon's service. Sawyer wakes up and grabs Kate by the throat asking why did she kill him. He must be thinking she's Ana, or he has REALLY mixed emotions for Kate. Jack finds Sawyer on the floor and Kate nowhere to be seen. Locke hits the sequence with a second to spare. Thanks Kate. Your flashback almost killed everyone the island. Take a timeout.
Charlie finds Kate on the path and she tells him about the horse in the jungle.
PCL Kate gets caught in the bus depot by the US Marshals. Her mother turned her in. I thought blood was thicker than water. Dang.
Locke shows the DI orientation film to Michael and Eko. Michael asks about the missing sections of the film but Locke thinks there are only a few frames missing here and there. Ah....there's something think about now. Eko walks away. He's mulling something over too.
PCL Kate being driven by the Marshal. They wreck in the car and she gets away.
(OOPS - hit Publish by accident)
Eko returns and tells a biblical parable to Locke. He has a book they found in their storage area in the locker. It has a hidden cutaway section with film coiled inside.
PCL Kate on the run. Goes to see her father, an Army recruiter. Oh snap. Kate;'s stepfather was really her father. And now she's getting turned in again. She has crappy parental units all the way around.
In a nutshell Kate has a lot of mixed feelings about the step/father Wayne.
And Sawyer woke up. He's more lucid now. He thinks he's been rescued and they won't admit it to him. Kate takes him outside to prove it to him. The horse is there too.
Ana on the rocky part of the beach sharpening a stake. Jack brings her tequila, but no tonic.
The spliced filmed newly restored, the missing section warns sternly against using the computer for communicating. It will jeopardize the integrity of the program and could lead to another incident. Hmmm....
Michael gets pinged in the computer with a "hello?" It's supposedly Walt.

Mate, post what you thought of the episode and the storyline so far, and any WFT moments. Anyone obsessed enough with Lost to be reading this already knows the story :)
ReplyDelete@tatasm, I agree to a point, but at the same time, find these recaps are a good refresh as I haven't seen Seasons 1-5 in about a year. For what it's worth...
ReplyDeleteI like the recaps and the 'fresh eyes' on it.
ReplyDeleteIf she took the time to compose thoughts it may slow her efforts - I suspect she'll return to this to add that flavor.
Apologies for the perceived slight. No harm intended.
ReplyDeleteHe must be thinking she's Ana, or he has REALLY mixed emotions for Kate.
ReplyDeleteAnother Awesome insight.
